Cruise to Howtown then walk over Beda Fell to view ancient deer forest of Bannerdale Return by Boredale Hause. Includes two Wainwrights summits.
Walk up Mires Beck, see complete views of Ullswater and the drama of Red Tarn. Reach the Wainwright peak of Catstycam before descending back to Glenridding. A world Heritage themed walk.
Take the steamer from Glenridding to the legendary Aira Force waterfalls. Return along the lake shore. A joint World Heritage themed walk in partnership with Dove Cottage and the Wordsworth Museum.
A tour above ground of the extensive remains of Greenside mining activities, set amongst stunning mountain scenery. A World Heritage themed walk.
Head outdoors to learn basic navigation skills in small, friendly groups. Map and compass provided.
Take in two Wainwright summits on this walk along beautiful Pasture Beck then climb to Thornthwaite Beacon for superb views.
