The Heritage of the Hill- Bred Fell Pony

25th July 2021 @ 10:00 am - 8th August 2021 @ 5:00 pm

The Fell Pony Heritage Trust will host an Exhibition about the Heritage of the Hill-Bred Fell Pony at Gowbarrow Hall Farm, Ullswater, in the Lake District at one of the Wilderculture’s projects with aspects of rewilding and regenerative farming. Fell Ponies are an integral part of the living system at Gowbarrow along with the cattle and pigs.

The display will feature artwork and photographs from local artists. It will be in the farm’s traditional bank barn to bring together all the intrinsic parts of Cumbria’s landscape and cultural heritage of farming, animals and wildlife.
A short farm walk to see the animals will be part of the exhibition.

Because of limited car parking space a parking slot will need to be booked. Please visit our website:
Entrance to the exhibition will be by purchase of tickets upon arrival.
