There is a fantastic range of events that take place in and around Ullswater each year that celebrate the rich diversity, local history, culture and beauty of the area. Highlights include the world famous Marmalade Festival, the popular Winter Droving, Ullswater Walking Festival or Ullswater’s very own Daff Fest. One Tarn and Two Waters – Walk

Up to Angle Tarn and then to Hayeswater, tucked under High Street. Finally, descend to idyllic Hartsop and Brothers Water. Returning through Patterdale valley. Includes two Wrainwrights.
Grade description
Hard – Long, energetic 16 km walk. Some ascents and descents may be quite steep and on loose material. A good level of fitness is required. Walking boots and equipment including warm, waterproof clothing are essential.
