Highlights include the world famous Marmalade Festival, the popular Winter Droving, Ullswater Walking Festival or Ullswater’s very own Daff Fest. Learn to Sail with us this summer

Ullswater Sailing School, which is part of award-winning Ullswater Yacht Club, is holding a series of special Royal Yachting Association courses for all ages over three weeks in August from August 7 – August 25. Learn to sail under the friendly expert guidance of a qualified RYA Sailing Instructor. Choose a three-day basic Level 1 course or come for five days and take Level 1 and the next step, Level 2.
There will be two groups for all courses, children (aged up to 16) and adults. All equipment, clothing, buoyancy aids and helmets will be provided and the Sailing School has a superb fleet of boats to suit all ages and levels of experience. The club is on the eastern shore of the lake around three miles from Pooley Bridge. It has stunning views of the lake, excellent changing facilities and ample parking.
