There is a fantastic range of events that take place in and around Ullswater each year that celebrate the rich diversity, local history, culture and beauty of the area. Highlights include the world famous Marmalade Festival, the popular Winter Droving, Ullswater Walking Festival or Ullswater’s very own Daff Fest. Autumn Colours Photography Cruise with Ullswater ‘Steamers’

Join us and Mark Littlejohn to capture the magnificent Autumn colours through the lens with a photography expert, around the Aira Force waterfalls, stopping at the National Trust tearoom to pick up a complimentary takeaway tea/coffee and muffin before heading back along the footpath to Glenridding. Meet at Glenridding Pier for the 10am sailing to Aira Force, returning by foot at approx. 2.30pm. Please wear suitable clothing; bring a packed lunch, the walk back to Glenridding is 3.5 miles for easy/moderate fitness. £30 per person, ticket price includes Photography tuition & guide, single cruise to Aira Force and complimentary tea/coffee & muffin or danish pastry. Dogs welcome, but on leads at all times.
