Nestled in the grounds of a Georgian mansion, with views over Ullswater, Waterfoot Park offers a picturesque base for exploring the northern Lake District. Waterfoot is home to a collection of accommodation including glamping pods, S-Pods, self-catering properties and touring, many of which are dog friendly.

Waterfoot Park is located in the Ullswater valley in UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Lake District National Park. It’s easily accessible from the M6 and main transport links. The park enjoys a quiet and tranquil setting, amidst ancient woodland with spectacular views overlooking Ullswater. Keep an eye out for the resident red squirrel!

Onsite facilities include a handy shop and information point, laundry, shower and toilet block (for touring), and playground. The onsite mansion bar and garden offers lake views and is the perfect spot to sit and relax. The Mansion Bar also provides free Wi-Fi.

Being located on the famous Ullswater Way walking route and a short drive to some the Lake District’s most exciting and iconic fells, Waterfoot offers the ideal base for hiking enthusiasts. The Lakeland village of Pooley Bridge and Ullswater ‘Steamers’ pier is within walking distance, while Aira Force, Glenridding, and Dalemain Mansion are a short distance away.
