Ullswater ‘Steamers’
An award-winning Lake District attraction, offering scenic lake cruises on England's most beautiful lake.
Operating one of the largest heritage vessel fleets in the world, Ullswater ‘Steamers’ have been sailing on the lake for over 160 years, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the beautiful Ullswater valley from the water.
The fleet sails a serpentine course for eight miles and offer a range of cruises from 20 minutes to over 2 hours. The four piers connect the famous Ullswater Way walking route which circumnavigates the lake, including must-see visitor attraction, National Trust waterfall Aira Force.
Facilities on board include indoor and outdoor seating, light refreshments, and toilets. There are pier houses at both Glenridding and Pooley Bridge offering free Wi-Fi, hot drinks and light refreshments, plus gift shops.
