Alfresco Adventures

At Alfresco Adventures we offer canoe, stand up paddle boarding (SUP) and kayak hire on Ullswater from the Park Foot Holiday Park, Pooley Bridge between April and October.

You don’t need to be a guest at Park Foot Holiday Park to hire the equipment or join one of our instructor led experiences. You can just book via our website, come down and get involved in the fun!

We also offer a plethora of instructor led experiences across the Lake District National, such as ghyll scrambling. We also offer one hour archery experience twice per week onsite at the Park Foot Holiday Park.

VISITING BETWEEN THE SCHOOL HOLIDAY’S (APRIL TO SEPTEMBER)?
We have an array of outdoor adventure experiences on set days of the week which we are offering as ‘Shared Experiences’ for you to book onto as an individual or as a small group.

We operate our shared experiences with small numbers of customers to staff ratios so you still get the personal experience whilst being part of a mixed group.

All our shared experience activities and challenges are aimed at people who are complete beginners wanting a ‘have a go experience’, looking for a fun few hours with like-minded people doing something a little different. Or to those who would like to kayaking or ghyll scrambling but don’t want to throw themselves in at the deep end.

• Thursday – Stand Up Paddle Boarding Ullswater Experience
• Thursday – One Hour Archery Experience

Park Foot Holiday Park is with in walking distance from Pooley Bridge and is situated just six miles of the M6, Junction 40. It is easy venue to get to from anywhere in the Lake District National Park.
