At Dalemain, we have focused on independent growers and specialist nurseries to protect the reputation of the fair. Over the years, we have built up a high standard of vendors and also continue to push to attract the best in the industry. Dalemain is an award-winning RHS garden and well-established plantsman’s garden. The fair is in front of the Mansion with a view out to the high Lake District fells. We also have selected artisan craft stalls to complement the plant offerings.

Artisan marmalade tasting

Parking will be available in the park beside the fair. The weather is usually warm and dry in June. You may want to get in early to have the best selection of the plants or spend the whole day enjoying the garden and stay for the day out.

Along with the Plant Fair, the entry ticket gives you access to Dalemain’s beautiful historic gardens at one of the best times of the year to see it. Tickets for entry to the Fair will be available closer to the event.
