There is a fantastic range of events that take place in and around Ullswater each year that celebrate the rich diversity, local history, culture and beauty of the area. Ever seen a group of animals take part in a singing contest? Follow five contestants; a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine as they compete to be the world’s greatest singer.
