£6Author Ruth Issett is one of the world’s leading colourist in textile art today. Her stunning colour combinations defy colour rules and in this illustrated talk, Ruth Issett explores the impact of colour in her work. Ruth shares observations of different environments, interpreted in colour studies and highlights variations achieved using collective media, process and colour as well as techniques of working on both paper and fabric; using dyeing, printing, painting, collage and stitch – important processes that have anchored her work.
