There is a fantastic range of events that take place in and around Ullswater each year that celebrate the rich diversity, local history, culture and beauty of the area. Highlights include the world famous Marmalade Festival, the popular Winter Droving, Ullswater Walking Festival or Ullswater’s very own Daff Fest. Or perhaps one of the many sporting events, such as the Ullswater Triathlon or the Epic Lakes Swim is more your cup of tea?

Nordic Walking Techniques Course for the fells

This course consists of 1 session, of 3 hours to master all the techniques…. Basic, Hills & Speed and also cover moving swiftly over rougher ground, typical to the Lake District.
Please be aware that we will be implementing a 2m social distancing rule with the strictest pole hygiene for the loan of our Leki Nordic Style poles for use on our courses.
Each hour, as we progress through the Nordic Walking Gears, we will have a short teaching session followed by a short walk to practice your new skill as it progresses.
Gain your Nordic Walking UK Passport on completion of the course to continue your Nordic journey, back home, there are over 300 instructors in the UK.
Leki Nordic Walking Poles are provided for the duration of the course, with the opportunity to buy from Nic or by mail order thereafter
