Learn to Nordic Walk for the Fells

£35Description for each course:
This course consists of 1 session, of 3 hours to master all the techniques…. learn the fundamentals of the Nordic Walking technique. Gaining forward propulsion from the poles by engaging the correct upper body muscles, understanding correct gait and co-ordination. Basic, Hills & Speed and also cover moving over rougher ground, typical to the Lake District.

Our qualified Nordic Walking Instructor, Mountain Leader & Navigation Coach, Nicky Sproson lives in the heart of the Ullswater Valley and enjoys inspiring those wishing to exercise outdoors, and increase their ’Skills for Hills’! Bur dont be put off, Nordic Walking can be for everyone and our courses are tailored to all those joining us on the day, being suitable for all ages and fitness levels, the course is not about the actual walk, but to learn new skills with the use of Nordic Walking poles.
