Highlights include the world famous Marmalade Festival, the popular Winter Droving, Ullswater Walking Festival or Ullswater’s very own Daff Fest. Karen Babayan Presents: About face – Adventures in Relief Print

Karen is an Artist living and working in Appleby who is also part of The Great Print Exhibition currently in our Gallery. In 2016, Karen also received the Cumbrian Artist of the year award.This half day workshop is for anyone new to lino print or anyone wanting to improve a particular aspect of their work. Using the reduction method of Lino Cut, you will produce 2-3 colour prints to take away with you. During the session, you will focus on portraits or self-portraits so please feel free to bring inspiring images along with you. All materials will be provided. Beginners welcome.
