Highlights include the world famous Marmalade Festival, the popular Winter Droving, Ullswater Walking Festival or Ullswater’s very own Daff Fest. Introduction to Felt Art with Marieke Tomlin

Ideal for all abilities even beginners with Mairieke’s guidance you can learn the processes of wet felting and stitching and create your very own felt masterpiece!
Marieke will bring all the materials necessary for the day,including a lovely choice of of vibrant colours in various fleeces and silks.
The course takes place some 5 miles from Ullswater in the lovely village of Greystoke at the Cycle Cafe.
You will be greeted with fresh coffee and home made biscuits, mid morning coffees and tea then a lovely 2 course Aga lunch is included in your day. Freshly whipped scones and home made am cream tea is included in the cost of your day.
