Grade description
Very hard – Long, full-day walks over 16 km or 10 miles. May include walks with sustained, occasionally very steep, ascents or descents which may be over loose rocky ground and may involve some limited scrambling. A high level of fitness and stamina is required. Walking boots and equipment including warm, waterproof clothing are essential.
