There is a fantastic range of events that take place in and around Ullswater each year that celebrate the rich diversity, local history, culture and beauty of the area. Highlights include the world famous Marmalade Festival, the popular Winter Droving, Ullswater Walking Festival or Ullswater’s very own Daff Fest. Or perhaps one of the many sporting events, such as the Ullswater Triathlon or the Epic Lakes Swim is more your cup of tea?

Creative Pottery Painting

Mini masterpieces are made every day at our Create pottery painting workshop, which is next to our soft play area. This half term we are also adding some Nepalese themed activities in connection with our Being Human on Everest Base Camp exhibition in the Gallery. So why not come along and have a go of the traditional craft of hand weaving or paint a pot with a Nepalese pattern. All activities are priced individually.
Open all week between 10:00am – 5:30pm
