Take to the water by canoe journeying around Ullswater stoping off along the way for one or two bushcraft activities such firelighting and campfire cooking.

Canoe journey

After a brief introduction to canoeing we will take to the lake exploring the many bays and islands. Canoes can be tied together to make stable rafts & even sailed across the lake when it’s windy! Along the journey we will stop off for one or two bushcraft activities.

Bushcraft activities

Try lighting a fire by spark and then make your own hot drink over an open fire. The day may also include other bushcraft activities such as simple camp fire cooking, foraging & shelter building.
