Best of British Season: Mr Holmes (2015) PG

Director Bill Condon puts a spin on Arthur Conan Doyle’s most celebrated character with Mr. Holmes, starring Ian McKellen as the famous detective. Now-retired Holmes, lives with his devoted housekeeper and her son who turns out to be of great help when the detective reopens his investigation into the case that led to his retirement. This film has receive positive reviews from critics and host of award nominations.
