The Quiet Bite provides delicious and fresh food all year round. We are open every day (except Xmas day) for our guests and people staying and living in the local area. The ingredients are all fresh (some are actually grown in Watermillock)!), our bacon and sausages are locally sourced from Basecamp Norths Lakes and the produce is cooked and served to order.

Pizzas and breakfast rolls can be eaten outside on the picnic benches provided or in the Quiet Bar (with or without a pint!) or taken back to your accommodation. Please return plates when finished. The energy for the coffee machine, lights and fridges is provided by the solar PV panels on the roof. The pizza oven is heated using local wood. All ingredients are fresh and wherever possible locally sourced. An Off-Grid eating experience that won’t cost the earth.

No throwaway packaging is being used so. Pizzas, breakfast rolls and hot drinks are being served with china plates and cups. Please return when finished! You are welcome to bring your own reusable cups. We charge a £5 deposit on our mugs. Takeaway mugs available to buy at £5.

Pizzas are cooked in wood fired oven and made with fresh ingredients and freshly made dough.

Coffees and Teas are available during service times.

Remember: The Quiet Bite is open to the whole community and you can use one of our 22KW car chargers while you eat!

Opening Times Open Every Day (Except Christmas Day)

5pm – 7.30pm (8.30pm in Holidays and on Fridays/Saturdays) for Pizzas (last orders 7.15/8.15)

8.30am- 10.30am (11am in Holidays and on Saturday/Sunday mornings) Sausage, Egg & Bacon Rolls, Vegan Sausages available, Tea and Coffee.
